I've been checking mail mext day since seems to come sometime between 7 &8. I went out this morn(Sun.), flag was down, but our outgoing mail still there. Neighbor said mail truck went by at 7:40 this morn. Looks like we had two days mail there. Would like to know what is going on!!

- LFLonny FryeDec 16, 20161.0They tried to extort $10 in order to deliver a flat rate envelope, because it was not flat! The rate is flat, not the envelope. The post master declined to deliver the envelope and was combative and dismissive of me on the phone. I tried to explain the policy and was hung up on when I read from the Domestic Mailing Manual latest update. She was having none of it and now I have to refund the purchase to the buyer as she will not deliver the item. In case you read these A. Laport, here is the USPS official policy: "Q. What about bulges? A. As long as the FRE or FRB can close “within the normal folds,” bulges are not a problem. “Flat” refers to the price, not to the shape. Q. What if the FRE is too thick? A. There is currently no maximum thickness for a FRE. “Flat” refers to the price, not to the shape. Q. What if the FRE is stuffed so full that it’s shaped like a cylinder? A. As long as the FRE can close within its normal folds, and as long as the sides of the FRE haven’t been reconstructed, for example by being slit and having a gusset inserted, it is fine. “Flat” refers to the price, not to the shape." Time to update your post office to the rest of the nation's standards so that commercial shippers like myself can ship to customers in your region with out your illegal surcharges.
