  I had a really upsetting experience at FedEx today. The employee I spoke with was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told I couldn’t, and they refused to give me their name. They also said there would “never be a manager” available and threatened to call security. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I’d appreciate someone looking into this situation.

  This is the place where packages go to die. Once a shipment arrives at the Anchorage Shipping Center, it disappears into a mysterious abyss of lost hope and lowered expectations. Tracking updates become a work of fiction, timelines lose all meaning, and you settle in for what is usually a month long wait for a package that is only a few hundred miles from its final destination. Other companies make real efforts to streamline logistics and improve delivery times, but FedEx consistently finds new and creative ways to counteract those efficiencies. It is almost impressive how reliably progress is undone. If you are looking for suspense, confusion, and the thrill of wondering whether your package still exists at all, this is clearly the place where that journey begins.
