- SJSandra JamesNov 28, 20255.0The Winona post office staff and the mail carriers have always been fantastic to us. They are friendly, efficient and always willing to help as much as they can, We do have a problem with the postal service in general (Not the Winona branch!) with days of delay for outgoing mail from Winona that has to be routed through Dallas or Wilmer--and for that matter incoming mail coming through Tyler that can get stuck there and/or routed back to Dallas or Wilmer, then back to Tyler, and with good luck eventually to Winona. Or not. But it can add days to the delivery. The problem is NOT the Winona post office! They are great! We once sent an express mail to Oregon that was supposed to be a one day delivery that sat in Dallas for 3 full days before it finally got routed out to Oregon. That was a lesson learned, for sure.

I was blown away at the customer service I received. The gentleman who helped me (Larry) was so friendly even though I walked in 10 minutes before closing. I don't think I will ever go back to the location I am used to in Tyler :)
