These people simply don't want to do their jobs. They regularly hold my packages hostage and force me to drive 20 miles to pick them up at the post office with childish excuses for not leaving them at my mailbox. For the second year in a row, they've returned a Christmas card sent by an old friend who addressed the envelope with the last two of four digits reversed - on a private road with about a dozen addresses, and nobody else whose name is even remotely similar to mine. If "Informed Delivery" was able to figure out it was for me, why couldn't my postal carrier? As bad as FedEx and UPS are, they are by far the best option if you want any hope of receiving a package, as this post office and in particular my local carrier are bent on punishing the people who are keeping them employed. Local carriers like her are why USPS in general has become a failure and a laughing stock.

Absolutely the most incompetent, lazy worthless post office I’ve ever dealt with. If you have a choice use another means of delivery. I took off work because I had to be present to sign for a package. At 12:00pm I hadn’t seen anything. Went to my mailbox and found a “Sorry we missed you” slip in my mailbox. I went to the post office and told them. They said I’m too far back to hand deliver. What happened to the postman’s creed? It’s not only that. When I moved here I filled out a form to state that I’m the soul recipient at this address. I’m receiving tons of mail that is not in my name. When I complained I started getting more mail in new names that also are not me. They won’t give me an actual number to the postmaster general office so I will be googling it. I will report you mfrs!!!!

I share the same experience with the person who bought the lingerie. Only difference between me and her is that the postal worker on my route marked my package as delivered at 11:13 that day. This was by no means a cheap package costing me upwards to almost $90. Anyway it was marked as delivered at said time I went out to check and what's more is not only did I not have my package it never even showed up for the rest of the day. And then I hear from the people that I share this house with that she often miss places mail into other people's mailboxes will skip days and not give our address our mail just on a whim. I tried calling to confirm with the post office itself to which I have yet to receive a response. I think this postal worker needs to find a new place of employment if she's going to be that unreliable. because not only was it not delivered I can't get a refund for my item because it's marked as delivered in an address that's supposed to be mine but it's not. and going through other people's mail is a federal offense she shouldn't be making mistakes like that it cost me time and money as does it cost everyone else.
