I’m not used to a post office of this size, but I am so impressed. Such different service compared to a big city’s post office. Richard was extremely accommodating, kind, and helpful. He knew people by name as they came in to check their PO Boxes.

Those complaining about short hours should complain to the appropriate US government office. Our post office (and the Walburg Post Office) were shortened to 1/2 day during Obama's administration. It seems that someone felt that money was better spent elsewhere (Iran?). So every postal worker at Weir (and Walburg) has been trying to do a full-time job in half the time. In addition the Weir Post Office gets many, many phone calls from people who couldn't get through to the Georgetown Post Office, and simply call another post office's number instead. And for thanks for dealing with the problems caused by entities other than the post office itself, the people working there get nasty reviews. It would be responsible to find out exactly what is going on before criticizing.

Since ive lived here I have never had problems with this post office till this new lady has been working. She is always on her phone and has very poor customer service. With a lot of attitude. Today I walked out before I got to mad. I have asked for my mail without a key before and she is one of them but they ask for your ID to make sure you are the one to that box. I told her I forgot mine in my husband's truck. She was trying to get me to buy a key. If I could I would put no stars on here. She is the rudest person who has worked there.

Employees are very rude on the phone and make it impossible to try to use their service. I from now on will only use UPS.
