This is a local post office that serves the community well. It is great that they are open on Saturdays which is a big help when you have a day job. The staff and mail carrier are much more upbeat than their counterparts at more urban locations.

The person who works there is nasty and rude and doesn’t help customers. Too bad there isn’t a zero star review because that’s what she deserves. We have a non profit in Washington TX and a postage permit for bulk mailing there. We have been doing mail outs for 15 years from the Washington Texas post office and have always been helped and treated well. Last year, in 2016, a woman named Geri took started working there and we’ve been treated so badly by her that we’re moving our mail to Navasota even though we live a mile from the Washington Post Office. It appears to me that she just doesn’t want to do her job and doesn’t want any big mail outs coming into the tiny post office. They really need to shut that post office down. I’m terrified about the mail that might come through there with her as Post master. Thank goodness for Fed X and UPS.
