- LRLola RojasJan 11, 20251.0Have to pay for a box to receive mail because there is no local mail routes to homes here in Waelder, Texas. If you do not pay for a box you will not receive mail. Then to top it off the post office is closed for an hour for lunch and then closes at 2:30!!!!!!! Closed on weekends. How are working people 9-5 supposed to get mail service from the postal workers if they are only open till 2:30 and no Saturdays? I am appalled with this so called free mail service system that is here in Waelder, Texas!!!!!
