They removed the outside drop boxes because of theft. The lobby is locked off but you can still get in to get post office box deliveries or use the interior dropbox.

Carrier leaves the package on top of my mailbox. Brick mailbox for everyone to drive by and see. This is the perfect place for someone just to drive by and smash the package. All she has to do is walk 50 feet and put it on my front porch there’s a box there. I have called and complained. And she’s still doing it. You just can’t fix stupid.

I'm not impressed at all. I will explain the story first, but I will not judge the entire store off of one interaction. I will give it another chance, but if it goes like the below story, I assure you it is better to drive across town to the other one. My wife went to USPS last night. However, it was six minutes before closing so I understand everyone wants to come home. But at the same time they only close at 5pm - everyone else has jobs too. When she walked in she stood off to the side since there was only one person in front of her. Right as the worker finished helping that customer, another lady came in and quickly went up to the counter since it was close to closing. Understandable, so my wife spoke up to let them know she was waiting first. So she goes up to the worker, he was a white elderly man, and asks how much it will cost to ship a specific item to Trukey because of tariffs. He got very unfriendly and told her he could only say if she was shipping the item because he needs to know the weight. So she had that type of item on her person and tried to hand it to him. This is the part that frustrates me. He ignored her, and asked the lady behind her how much time is left. She responded with 4 minutes and then he turned his attention back to my wife and said we open at 10am tomorrow. So she left. This is a customer service job and I worked in it when I was younger. 1. Saying you can't give a price on an item doesnt mean you can't. It means you don't want to go through the effort to get to it. 2. This is a more personal service type of take, but closing at 5 to me doesnt mean kick out 1 person so you can go home on time (I would understand if it were 5 or 10 people). 3. The way this man asked my wife to come back was disrespectful - even if you are grumpy at the request and/or for coming in the last minute. The normal, adult way of telling someone to come back tomorrow isn't to ignore and ask the person behind a time the time then simply say you open at 10am tomorrow. All in response to her giving him the item to weigh. I'd ask the manager to give me your email so we can talk about it. And if the man working last night happens to be the manager, great. Let's talk.
