As promised, here's an update to my previous review since I can't find the original to make an update on there. Anywho, after communicating with the district manager Amanda via E-mail, I appreciate how she was was able to assist me in rectifying issues. I was able to retrieve my mail that they were kind enough to hold for me. So, I would definitely recommend 1912 E. Southeast Loop 323 store to anyone in need of an alternative address.

I often visit this store - sometimes a couple of times per week - and the service is always speedy, which I am thankful for. I want to highlight one employee, especially - Chloe! She is always kind, helpful, and even if I’m hauling in a bag of numerous packages, her face is always greeting me with a smile! Sometimes, I’m fumbling on my phone for different return codes on different apps, and she has never made me feel like I am wasting her time. She is patient and definitely a BRIGHT LIGHT in this store!

Tried to call in advance to know if the notary would be available and after going through their menus got to a recording saying notary services would be available weekdays until 6:30, but at 5pm they were gone already.

Update: I dropped off packages today, the staff was friendly and quick. A+ In response: Respectfully, I watched the entire situation. The lady was on crutches, and 3 customers were indeed there before her. I don't have a problem waiting, but having one staff member helping the more "complex" customers, while having another one help with drop offs is just more efficient. So, I understand what you said, although it was not what we as customers experienced. Also, at no time did anyone apologize or explain that they would be right with us. I've had things notarized there myself, and I believe I waited, or maybe even came back at a better time. From now on... when things look too busy, perhaps I will just come back later. I live about 30 min away, that's why I can't just pop in whenever. How about a store in Whitehouse or Kilgore? This place used to be great, but ever since they moved, everything is painfully slow. Avoid going there when they’re short-staffed, like on weekends. They let people cut the line for notary services—even when those people aren’t ready and hold everyone else up. It took them fifteen minutes to notarize a single document while the rest of us just waited to drop off a package. The staff could have taken care of the quick tasks first, but instead, we all stood around while another employee slowly laminated papers, one at a time. If one person is working on a long job, the other should be helping customers move through faster. I can’t recommend this store anymore.

I would have recommended this store to anyone 4 months ago. But now, I wouldn't even recommend them to my worse enemy! I started renting box 249 from the store when the address was still 1910 in November 2023. The reason being, I needed a secured address for my packages since giving up my apartment to go back to being an OTR trucker who was out for weeks at a time. I was impressed by how they took steps to do my mail forwarding from the Post Office to their store. However, now that I've moved to Houston they're refusing to forward my mail from their store to my address in Houston. And I know exactly how mail forwarding works with an individual and a business because I've done it before. When doing mail forwarding you're clearly asked, "is this for an individual, family or business?" And of course I marked individual. Then the Post Office will send a confirmation letter to know if the individual is the one wanting the mail to be forwarded. Which should be an easy response. But the person who answered the phone the day I called to ask about my mail being forwarded was extremely condescending as if I didn't know what I was talking about. So unless this matter is rectified, I will Never recommend this store or any UPS Store for that matter to anyone: Not even my worse enemy!!
