I would prefer not to leave any stars at all. This post office closed at four today and I was in the door by 3:53 pm on 10/17/23. Whoever was closing down this post office at 4 o’clock was more concerned about closing the doors and making sure that she had everything done at 4 o’clock that she didn’t care to help me mail my package! This Clerk kept repeating herself that she had to close right at 4pm!! The clerk made me very uncomfortable and as I was trying to tell her that this was going to a military base and I need to fill out custom form. The clerk then continued to tell me that my fee was gonna be $44 etc. shipping to a military base doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be full price shipping. So I left there with my package (since I wasn’t getting help) and went to Whitewright Post Office . All it took for Lisa is five minutes to process and I was out the door paying $15! I will not be back to this post office going forward. I know this is my normal postal service area but if they’re more concerned about locking the doors and closing down right at 4 o’clock then helping somebody I’m not coming back.
