10/10/25 update
I was home today when USPS happened to be delivering another package as she was unloading the package I came out to grab it and inquired why yesterday she didn't knock and only posted that note on my door. The mail carrier lied to my face claiming she knocked three times. Just extremely disappointed that she lied directly to my face as again I was literally on the other side of the door at the time she posted the notice.
She also followed up after confronted on the LIE that due to the weed growth and overgrowth near my front door that actually she shouldn't even being going up there as a safety concern. So when caught in the LIE she moved on to deflecting to another reason which again makes no sense since she braved the way to my door to put the notice saying she missed me. At the end of the day it's not a huge ordeal but the way it's being handled has me escalating things. I've reached out to USPS proper to file a formal complaint.

Literally had certified mail come in today and was sitting in my living room. Didn't notice it was USPS thought it was just a package from Amazon or something. After they pulled away went to grab a package and had a pink slip for a failure to deliver due to eating a signature.
I was literally on the other side of the door and had they knocked I would have kindly provided a signature. But then when I even called confused as to why they did that the gentleman promised me they would have knocked. Even after I explained I was literally on the other side of the door and there was no knock. I also have several dogs that would have barked I would have known if there was a knock.
Received no apology and have to wait another day for the package now....
Thanks for nothing USPS

I have found the Thorndale PO to be professional and helpful. We had our box hit by a car and they walked us through the reporting process. They saw the damage before we did and had already started the mail hold process until the box was replaced! Great job folks!!!

I know we all have bad days but when someone addresses you about their package being forced into your box causing it to be bent. Why did she catch attitude because I asked if she would but it in the bigger box or just put a yellow slip in my box. She got rude talking about I can't please everybody. This is not the first time she acted unprofessional, but the next time I will be calling in on her.

The USPS as a whole is so incompetent, ignorant and rude when called out on it. Rachel especially is a bitter disgruntled employee that has no clue what the right thing to do is.
