We routinely go 3-7 days without the mail truck even coming down our road, and we live in town. As I’m writing this, I’ve had a package sitting at the post office for 5 business days according to USPS tracking. It’s a joke. And it’s not just Amazon or eBay deliveries, it’s everything. It really makes you wonder if the city and the post office have some kind of side deal going on. I can only imagine how many older residents or college students miss water bills or other city notices because the mail never shows up… then end up hit with reconnection fees because the bill arrived the day after the shutoff notice. This isn’t a minor inconvenience, it’s a serious failure that affects real people every day.
