USPS won’t hold it for you, even few hours. They will just returned to sender within an hour of receiving the package into their facility. First time I experience something like this

They rarely leave a sign saying why they are closed and when they do leaving notice such as for lunch, they seem to feel 2 hr lunches are normal. Staff is rarely friendly. I had a package that basically stayed at this post office for literally 7 days before being delivered and it wasn’t even delivered until I put in a lost package claim. The tracking showed it lay stagnant there for 7 days. I am done with this incompetent agency and now use Fedex or UPS.
