  I had an absolutely awful experience at the UPS Store in Seguin, TX. I went in to ship a care package to my daughter who is away at college. I had everything packed, boxed, taped, and ready to go. The woman at the counter immediately told me I could not use my box because it had tape on it. When I asked if they had a box I could purchase, she measured it and then informed me I would also have to buy tape or pay them to tape the box for me. Although I was frustrated, I remained composed. She then asked me in a very condescending tone if I was “in a hurry.” I explained that I was on my lunch break. She told me I would need to go to another representative because she was “more experienced.” That person was already helping someone else and had another customer waiting for a notary. While waiting, I set my box on a desk in front of the counter area and was sharply told I could not place it there. When she was finally available, she weighed and measured my package — five separate times — which felt unnecessary and inefficient. She then proceeded to question my daughter’s shipping address because she is a college student and asked me if the university even accepts UPS deliveries. How would I know? Isn’t the purpose of going to a UPS Store to get help understanding shipping options? At that point, I had had enough. I gathered my package and walked out. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and made me feel stupid for simply trying to ship a box. I later called to speak with a manager and was told she had “just stepped out.” When I asked to speak to the owner due to how poorly I was treated, I was told the owner was the one who helped me. That is absolutely unacceptable. The women in this store were rude, stuck-up, and condescending. I will never step foot in the UPS Store in Seguin, TX again.

  They could really use a place with a table and decent chairs for handicap people to use when requiring Notary services. It's very difficult to have to stand at the counter and do everything necessary for Notary services. And the chair they have is terrible.

  came in to have a documents scanned and emailed, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The employee took my papers, scanned them, emailed them to me, and only afterward told me the total was $23. There were no signs anywhere listing pricing, and at no point did she have the decency to tell me the cost before sending the email. Once the documents were emailed, there was no way to cancel the service. Had I known it would cost $23 just to email documents, I would never have agreed to it. UPS Store needs to clearly post their prices and communicate them upfront, just like when accepting shipping labels or any other service. Customers deserve transparency before being charged. Very frustrating experience.
