Useless. Exasperating. Rude.
USPS failed (in multiple ways) to properly deliver/handle an item sent by certified mail that was marked restricted delivery (which is supposed to require that signature be provided, signed by ONLY the person that an item is addressed to or that person's authorized agent). USPS shows mailer signed by a completely different person in a completely different city. Being here in San Antonio, I stopped at this post office to take the next steps, i.e. probably file a report to get the ball rolling and hopefully the issue eventually corrected. The employee here wanted me to note her confusion trying to wrap her head around the idea of why I was even there, as if she couldn't grasp why a bungled delivery of certified mail might be an issue and why a person might show up at the post office in the city they're in right now (and not one of the other two cities, either the one 3 hours away where I don't live and where it was supposed to have been delivered to, or another city 2 hours away that the item was incorrectly delivered to—neither one of which I am in at the time that this conversation is happening at 4:00 PM this Friday afternoon, nor do I have any interested in visiting). Incredible rudeness/condescenscion throughout the interaction, and employee did *nothing* to get the ball rolling on resolution. Breathtaking lack of self-awareness by someone so stupefied by such a simple concept.

The security officers were very helpful and calm. It’s worth coming just to look at the building. The cleanest bathroom ever in this country.
