The young lady who checked us in on the night of March 1 was an absolute gem. She was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made a great first impression. The hotel and our room were both clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was reasonable. The location was also very convenient. It’s right off the highway and close to shopping, gas stations, and several food options, which made it perfect for our travel route. There were a few things in room 325 that took away from the stay. The bathroom had a very strong sewage smell that was overwhelming, even with air fresheners. The pillows were also extremely flat, which made it a little difficult to get comfortable at night despite the bed itself being comfortable. The AC unit did not keep the room consistently cool. At times it appeared to be running but was not blowing cool air, so we had to keep turning it on and off throughout the night. The shower also took quite a while for the water to heat up. It needed to run about 5 minutes just to get lukewarm and closer to 10 minutes to become hot. Aside from those issues, the hotel itself was clean, the staff was kind, and the location was very convenient for travelers.
