I ordered supplies for our San Antonio location from Office Depot and had them shipped to a FedEx location for pickup, since I am based in Chicago and manage multiple locations. I later received a call from a FedEx representative stating that this is not allowed, which I understand and will keep in mind for future orders.
However, I was told they could not hold the items and instead wanted to ship them back to me in Chicago, which would have resulted in double shipping costs. I explained that someone could pick them up locally that same day, but was told that was not an option. She mentioned she would contact Office Depot to have the items picked up instead.
What I don’t understand is why the shipment was accepted and not returned to Office Depot immediately if pickup was not allowed. Allowing us to pick up the items would have resolved the issue quickly.

The female employee working the front desk last night (close) was terrible. I understand not wanting to be helpful to print a label because of whatever rule/policy. Fine. I went to Walgreens & printed the label for $0.23. But to drop my live animal because you hate your job is just rude. Not to me but to the animal that’s already going to have a stressful night. Unacceptable.
I have picked live animals up during the morning and the lady is super nice. And that’s why I’ve giving 3 stars but the night lady gives this place negative stars. She really should find a different job.

The front desk was no help. A driver from the back had to fulfill my shipment. Also what FedEx doesn’t have freaking tape??

Maybe try knocking or ringing a doorbell before you decide someone isn't home. Now I'm stuck waiting even longer not knowing if their next "attempt" will be the same.
