READ THIS IF YOU ARE SELF SERVICE PRINTING I wrote out 5 important things to know before you go that will save you ALOT of unnecessary stress, time, and money. 1. If your jpegs aren't printing, it's likely because your Google drive is full and your email will not send anything to Fed which means they will end up in your outbox and you will get no response from Fedex because your pictures were never sent. Check your outbox and make sure your phone has space. 2. If you use this service make sure you send your documents beforehand to printandgo@fedex.com and apparently you can send documents up to 2 weeks in advance. I was never told that in multiple states and would spend an hour or more struggling to print 1 or 2 documents. 3. Do not depend on usb connection. Most times I would have trouble connecting with my USB cord that I have no issues with at home. The codes they give you in your email to enter into the kiosk are very easy to use and the prompts on the machine take you there pretty quickly and with ease. 4. If you have not pre-printed, make sure you connect to the wifi they will only let you know about if you ask because using your wifi service will have you trying to email in your documents for hours and most staff members will say nothing no matter how long youve stood there looking confused as to why fedex is not sending your codes. Also be aware that they are not always secured networks so you put your data at risk when you connect to open networks and are likely sending important documents you would want secured so always try to send them prior to getting into the store. 5. If you are printing regular documents, definitely check your black and white prints because the printer defaults to color. Color is significantly more so if you want to print in black and white make sure you select it. Now that I'm pretty sure I fully understand this system and fought through what I think are all the frustrating kinks...We got a printer and will do so in every state from now on because I associate fed ex with all of the experiences up to this point haha but you may travel so good luck to you :) To anyone that works there: You could maybe make a sign above the kiosk about these issues and refer people to read it before they print so you don't get backlash and keep having problems. 95 percent of the time ive noticed people are trying to avoid helping you at all costs I'm sure because it's self service. I know its self service but you are still making money off of people that are more likely to deal with you if given clear instruction and a friendly nudge in the right direction. I shouldn't have to figure out the kinks over years in order to use your system with ease. Even if I were to ask why I was having issues at the desk, which I did on several occasions, I only received part of this information each time if I received any information at all. The only thing that is clear until the documents are in the machine is the email in which to send to and that really dosent help if you can't send to it. I am posting to all Texas locations because these issues, all but the jpegs, have been consistant in various fed ex offices accross 4 states and I have only dealt with 1 Texas location. Thank you if you read this and have a good day :) If you send me a picture of the sign I will change my review to 5 stars
