    I went to this UPS Store on Sunday, February 22, 2026, around 3:00 p.m. to return an Amazon package. I regularly use UPS for my returns and other services, and I’ve always had positive experiences at this location in the past. When I walked in, I was immediately asked if my visit was for a return and was directed to the self-service kiosk. I noticed that other customers who came in for returns were being assisted directly by associates at the counter, while I was sent to handle everything myself. I had never used the kiosk before because every previous time I’ve visited this location, an associate assisted me and made the process smooth and easy. This time, I needed help with the barcode and labeling process, and there were several technical issues with scanning. While the associates did ask if I needed help, their tone felt off. At one point, I was told, “If you don’t print the label, how are we supposed to mail them?” The overall interaction felt dismissive rather than supportive. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I have consistently chosen this location because of the good service I’ve received before, but after this experience, I will not be returning to this store again. I hope management reviews this and ensures consistent and respectful service for all customers.

    We have relied on UPS extensively during our travels around the world, which gives us a broad basis for comparison across five continents. UPS has generally been a workhorse for us—an essential, dependable service. Unfortunately, this particular location fell well short of that standard. The problem was an unannounced, undisclosed, and certainly not pre-agreed fee: a $5-per-day charge for package pickups. To be clear, the package was already paid for by the sender and shipped to this location for us to pick up. Yet when we arrived, we were told we must pay an additional fee simply because the store had “received it for us.” The fee was not disclosed in advance, and neither we nor the sender were informed that this charge would apply. Adding insult to injury, the pickup fee was higher than the shipping cost of the package itself. When we asked for an explanation—how the fee was calculated, why it is $5, why it’s charged per day, and why the sender was never notified—the person behind the desk could not provide clear answers. We refused to pay a fee we never agreed to. After a brief but intense exchange, we were ultimately allowed to leave with our package (our property) without paying the charge. We worry that many other customers will be caught off guard by this policy and feel pressured into paying it. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend shipping to or using this UPS Store location. As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review.
