I've only dropped off packages at this location, but just like other eCommerce business owners have mentioned already, they are hit or miss when it comes to scanning packages into system at this location. I literally dropped off (5) packages (at the same time) and only (2) reflected "accepted at USPS origin facility" by the end of the day. The other (3) had no tracking updates until they hit the "regional destination facility" . . . really?! #DoBetter

As a small business owner, I rely on being able to drop off packages after hours since I can’t always get to the post office during normal business hours. I usually print the label at home and leave the packages in the after-hours drop box at the Prosper location. Unfortunately, the issue I keep running into is that the packages are not being scanned at this location. Instead, they often show the first scan at the warehouse or sorting center days later if at all.
This creates a huge problem because, in the meantime, tracking shows “Shipment Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item,” which makes it look like I never dropped off the package. Customers get frustrated thinking their orders haven’t shipped, and sometimes packages go completely missing. When I try to follow up, the post office staff insists the package was never dropped off, which is incredibly frustrating.
I truly hope the Prosper post office improves its scanning practices. Small businesses depend on reliable tracking and timely scanning to maintain customer trust.
