In fact, I was outside at the time of the “attempted delivery”.. So I went to check my mailbox (in this neighborhood, like many Houston area neighborhoods, it’s a community mailbox. Guess what was in there! An orange slip saying “sorry we missed you while you were out”. In the past, these come to your door - you know, after the carrier actually attempts to deliver! You can’t “attempt” a signed delivery at a community mailbox. That’s pure laziness and refusal to properly do your job! I’m guessing the post office will attempt to make me come pick it up - but no, I suggest you make your carriers actually do their job!
