While my regular letter mail has been delivered consistently, a package—approximately the size of my hand and small enough to clearly fit inside my mailbox—has not been delivered to my residence. When I initially noticed that my mail was not being delivered, I visited the post office for clarification. At that time, I was told the disruption was due to road construction. However, the road was only blocked for a few hours on a single day and has not been obstructed since. Despite this, the issue persists.On a subsequent visit to the post office, I picked up my mail but was not given my package. I have since filed multiple complaints. The USPS complaint line has been very helpful and has made every effort to assist me, but the situation remains unresolved. At this point, it almost appears as though my package is being deliberately withheld, even though my mail is being delivered daily. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, as I cannot afford to take time off work repeatedly to retrieve mail and packages that should be delivered directly to my home—especially given that normal delivery service has resumed.
