Delivery people are a joke. Had a package come in that quite literally says “do not bend” on the packaging yet they bend it all up to fit it in the mail box 🤦♂️ come on guys it’s not that hard to drive down to the house and drop it off on the porch. That’s just lazy.

Not sure who delivers the mail on the north side of town, but the lady wearing a white sun visor who typically delivers there consistently over-stuffs our mailbox, forces boxes that are too large to fit into our mailbox, often damaging them, AND leaves packages that she can't stuff into the mailbox ON TOP ON IT. These things typically happen when you're too lazy to get out of your vehicle to deliver packages to the front door, you know, like you're supposed to.

First and foremost, I don’t do this often. Im not the type of person to go leave a bad review of a place just because I had 1 unpleasant experience.
However, this review isn’t based off one bad experience. I have had probably 20+ instances of this within the last year.
I order something on Amazon, or have a package of some sort with a set delivery date. I will get an email from Amazon or whatever vendor I purchase from stating that there’s an issue with the delivery. (See pictures)
I further investigate and the post office will put a note on it that the “driveway is inaccessible”
I have a 30’ wide driveway that has no gate on it that you can pull 2 semi trucks into. (Again, see pictures) but the drivers consistently lie and claim that they have no access.
My question for them is what possible reason do you have that you consistently have to lie? It’s clearly not accessibility. So what is the real reason? I would just like to know. My guess is a driver simply being lazy but I could be wrong. Whatever the case is just tell the truth and stop giving me the run around.
I don’t expect a response bc of course that would require someone to actually take accountability and do their job.
Update - 11/26/25 - since my initial review was taken down for whatever reason I’m posting again because guess what? The post office strikes again. Ordered pictures of my daughter, the envelope clearly says “do not crease” on the outside. Thanks mcgregor post office, another great experience!

I hate to say this about the post office in the town I grew up in, but the McGregor Post Office has been consistently one of the worst postal experiences I’ve ever had.
Every visit feels more like an obstacle course than a service. Today I went to mail a package, and my box was refused, first because they “didn’t like” the box I brought (even though I had a sticker to cover it), and then again because the reused shipping box had a hazmat label that could have easily been removed. Instead of helping me fix the issue, the staff chose to reject it altogether.
This isn’t just a one-off; I cannot think of a single pleasant experience I’ve had here. The staff and management have been the same for years, and nothing about the culture has improved. It feels like customer service is an afterthought.
USPS locations in other towns work with you, not against you. McGregor deserves the same level of service.

Knowledgeable, patient, and friendly staff.
I came in just before closing and was expecting them to be upset and tell me to come back tomorrow, but I got nothing but a smile and a how can I help you today. A1 service
