The clerk was super friendly, and I couldn’t believe the building was from the 1800s! If you’re already out running errands, you should definitely stop by, it’s well worth your time 🤩

He came over from Ireland after the second potato famine in the late 1880’s and settled in McNeil when he was young. He was the manager of the Limestone plant as well. My dad and uncle used to walk to the store when they were boys to get ice cream. My Uncle is an artist and did a painting of this amazing place back in the 1980’s as a memory for our family. I still have it hanging in my home to this day. I’ve taken my sons here and taken pictures with them in front of the store as well.
