I came to this post office to send my daughter’s passport paperwork to the passport processing agency.
My court order states I’m the sole managing conservator. State law says I can get her passport without her father.
The man working at the time, refused to collect my paperwork although I had explained to him and had all the documentation. He obviously was abusing his power.
I went to the Municipal court to submit my daughter documents, we received my daughter’s passport today.
The gentlemen at this office should receive disciplinary action for abusing his power and needs better training.

I came here to get my daughter’s passport. The rude man working refused to take my paper work and my daughter’s picture. I explained I am the sole managing conservator and therefore allowed to get my daughter’s passport. He said no and wouldn’t help me.
I spoke to the passport office today and they advised the postal workers have no right to reject us, they should take the paperwork and let the actual passport agency decide.
Do not waste your time with these inept workers at this location.

All post offices get bad reviews. I have my own opinion as to why and shared it with my kiddos. Just to see if I was correct, we took my opinion to the test. And, The Manvel Post Office did not disappoint!
5 years ago was the first time going to this location. It was for passports and during the busiest time of the year!!! We laughed with the Post Office Worker and had light hearted, fun conversations.
We needed to get Passports updated and went back to Manvel Post Office. As prepared as I thought I was, I was not. Every thing that went wrong was on me. I was kind, respectful and apologetic. It wasn’t their fault.
And, guess what? That’s right…. They reciprocated with kindness and respect!! Again, we all joked around and I even got to know them.
Don’t go in last minute, unorganized and in a hurry. And, if you do… be kind. It may not go the way you wanted it to, but, they will remember you when you come back.
They do a lot in that tiny, old post office but they greeted everyone who walked in and even knew some by name.
Thank you for being patient with me James!

Worker did not believe Sri Lanka was a country. Underquoted our shipping cost by $10. Nice enough guy, but not great to work with.
