    This UPS store does not honor Amazon return labels that clearly state "return item in it's original product packaging no box or label needed" to date this location has charged me over $60 in packing material, and I've contacted Amazon who has credited me & thoroughly explained that there is a corporate account when they scan the QR code that they are authorized to get the packing materials for when it says it is not due by the customer. By having the customer pay and the ability to bill Amazon- this store owner is double dipping, and perpetrating a crime called highway robbery. Actually triple dipping, because he has us buy our shipping material needlessly, then he bills Amazon for the material and then he gets to resell the material paid for by Amazon to an another customer. He has been reported to the Attorney General and I will be taking further legal action.

    At the Manvel Hwy 6 UPS facilities, I attempted to ship items through a large company account with a prior printed shipping sheet with instructions. The clerk(s) at this store were insistent that they needed additional information beyond the account and processing order numbers. They sent me away. I've gone to another UPS store to complete the shipping without any delays. This store requires training.

    It's very seldom that we witness exceptional things. But not when you walk into the UPS store here in Manvel. Exceptional is two thin a word to describe the level of speed professionalism courteousness and just plain Joy of just interacting with any of the members of this impossibly amazing establishment. My most recent interaction with this place I was helped by a Mr Habib. Superlative is a word that comes close to what I would describe as his customer service skills. What a wonderful place with so many wonderful people filling it. I often order stuff I know I don't want on purpose so that I may have an excuse to why I need to go back to that store again. Something you may be thinking this is hyperbole, but for those of us that are lucky enough to be able to go to the store know that this has no exaggeration within it.

    Edit for owner response: No thank you. There is no need for a follow up. I will drive the extra 5 miles to Pearland for the better service. After some research, UPS Stores are franchises, individually owned and operated. I'll give my business to the location with the better customer service, that is not trying to scam me. I also looked up prices for UPS Ground Shipping boxes as I thought that $23 was high for an 8x6x2 box. On the UPS website it lists that size box as "small" starting at $14.90. The price of a medium box starts at $17.85. So trying to charge me $23 is definitely shady. I should have looked at reviews before going to this location. I had to ship a heart monitor back to a hospital after use. I do this once a year. The hospital provides the box and shipping label and I just drop it off. I have always used the location in Pearland Silverlake area by Discount Tire. I have never had an issue there. I thought I would use this new location, as it is closer to me. Employee stated that the package couldn't be shipped due to the box saying "express" and the label saying "ground". He wanted to charge me $23 for new packaging. I left and took it to the Pearland location, they shipped it no problem, even after I pointed out the issue that this location had, they said that it wasn't an issue. Seems this location is, in fact, just money hungry like previous reviews state.

    The manager accidentally ripped a hole in my paper and still charged me full price. Although she offered to reprint it, it was insulting to assume that I had unlimited time to wait, as this would have been the third attempt. My options were essentially to pay full price for something that was ripped and clearly unusable or wait even longer for her to try again. Offering to redo a service does not automatically resolve the situation, especially when the customer’s time has already been wasted. I had already emailed the file to the store the day before, so it should have only taken a few minutes to print a simple double-sided color page on card stock. Instead, I waited well over 15 minutes. What might seem like a $5 card to an employee just passing time on the clock was part of a thoughtful gift I had been planning for weeks for my stressed-out boyfriend. I had to leave with the ripped card and pay full price, since waiting for yet another reprint would have made me late picking him up from the airport. Earlier, another employee asked, “Why are you shaking?” My hands shake due to medication, and while I understand she may have intended to be considerate, there are more respectful ways to address that rather than calling attention to my physical condition. The experience could have been much better if the manager had acknowledged the mistake, apologized sincerely, and made it right instead of charging full price after two failed attempts and a torn final product. A small gesture of understanding and accountability would have gone a long way after such a long wait and frustrating experience.
