  Had a great experience this morning with Taylor at UPS Store #4284. I scheduled an appt on their website to open a business mailbox and she handled everything professionally, was extremely courteous , and explained everything in detail. I was also pleased that they offered a military discount, waived my initial set-up fee (because I transferred from their other store on Broad), and allowed me to use the 3 month coupon on a 12 month rental. I also found out that the other 2 UPS stores I frequent are owned by the same person that owns this one so I definitely know I am in good hands!

  They charged me $2.50 to print a label for a $6.00 shipment. This makes using this company a poor value proposition. Charging almost half the cost of a shipment to print a label for your own company is poor business and will stop me from using their services.

  Warning: Misleading Shipping Practices at UPS Store Mansfield UPS Store – 990 U.S. 287 Frontage Rd, Suite 106, Mansfield, TX 76063 I paid for overnight shipping at this UPS Store, but instead of UPS actually shipping my package, they handed it off to USPS. My package still hasn’t been delivered — USPS says they’ve only received a shipping label, not the actual package. When I went back to the store, both Crystal (who originally assisted me) and Tasha (the manager) told me there was nothing they could do because I supposedly chose to ship with USPS. That is absolutely not true — it was never explained to me that the slightly lower overnight price meant UPS wouldn’t be handling delivery at all. I thought I was paying UPS for overnight service, not to have my shipment passed to another carrier. To make matters worse, these were important passport documents that needed to arrive in time for a family vacation, and because of this delay, our son in college will now miss the trip entirely. When I asked to speak with the owner, I was told the owner did not wish to discuss the matter and that they would not provide his name, phone number, or email. That lack of accountability and professionalism is completely unacceptable. UPS charged me for a service they didn’t provide, failed to take responsibility, and caused a major personal inconvenience. I will never use this location again and strongly caution others to verify exactly who is handling their shipment before paying UPS prices for USPS service
