Since moving to Lindale, TX, we have had multiple issues with the Lindale USPS Post Office. The most recent issue involves an Amazon package that arrived at the Lindale station on 09/19/2025 in the early morning according to USPS tracking and Amazon tracking. It was never delivered. I have contacted our credit card company and disputed the charge. It was Not Amazon’s fault. It was either lost or stolen by our local USPS. USPS has since changed the tracking status of this package to show it never left Oklahoma. That is incorrect. Amazon still shows the accurate tracking status.
Amazon also now states the package is probably lost.
Multiple issues with Lindale USPS include
-Not delivering this package.
-Now no longer scanning my mail into informed delivery, so we do Not know what mail we
are missing or expecting. Daily mail confirmation email also no longer being sen to us.
-Refusing to deliver a package that did Not require a signature.
-Most Amazon packages arrive have been cracked open as if someone is checking contents, this is over 75% of the time for these packages.
-Leaving other residents mail in our mailbox.
(quite often lately)
-Leaving the mailbox door open on multiple occasions, causing some mail to get wet from rain.
-Theft
-Defensive postal interactions (in the field, not in the station)

Take the trip to the Tyler location instead.
One of my packages coming to me was lost as soon as tracking hit Lindale, and I’m almost certain an important piece of certified mail I sent out is also lost. (Tracking never updated after it departed the building) Certified mail is supposed to include tracking — I paid extra for that service — yet there have been no updates in over a week, & they won’t tell me it’s lost, they just keep saying they will keep an eye out. (Just like the package coming to me) This has now happened twice, not even two months apart. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of money for a service that doesn’t even work.
As for the screenshot;
It said moving through network on August 25th and then updated to the 29th. (8-12 days ago)
So has it not moved???
Can’t they see who scanned it? Get in their truck and look for it!
When they update it, it usually says which distribution center it is at. Not moving through network. 😡

Front desk clerk was absolutely rude when I went in because it said my packages were going to be held at the facility. Then said delivery hold. When I went in to ask she was very rude and said they took it out to try to deliver it. I asked if they could at the end of the day set them aside and for me to pick up and she didn’t even answer. WORST USPS

I had Post Office stop normal delivery on 9/4/19 and requested start delivery on 9/10/19. This did occur, however a package was delivered to the Post Office on 9/6/19, and was not delivered on 9/10/19. I called the vendor on 9/12/19 to ask where the package was. They said it was delivered on 9/6/19. They provide a tracking number to me. I called a Post Office 800 number and they set up for re-delivery on 9/14/19. You guessed it, it did not happen as requested. After the normal delivery time on 9/16/19 I checked the mailbox. Guess what? NO PACKAGE DELIVERED!! I called the local Post Office number and talked to a person that said they had it and asked if I wanted it delivered tomorrow or come and pick it up! This is highly unacceptable by any standard!!! How hard is it to make a note to not forget to check a bin to insure you don’t miss a delivery?? No wonder our local POST OFFICE has a 2 ⭐️ Review!!!! Tee’d off is saying it lightly!!!!!
