I am extremely disappointed with the passport walk-in process at this USPS location in Katy. The USPS website clearly lists walk-in passport hours between 8:45 AM and 9:45 AM on Fridays. I arrived during that posted window expecting to be seen, only to be told they were no longer accepting walk-ins for the day. The staff informed me that they had already taken the first 13 applicants when they opened at 7:30 AM. They also stated that they “usually only take 4 walk-ins,” and that taking 13 that day was actually more than normal. This directly contradicts the published walk-in hours. If the location only intends to take 4 people — or a limited number starting at opening — that information should be clearly stated online. Posting a one-hour walk-in window implies that applicants who arrive during that time will have an opportunity to be seen, not that all spots are filled before the listed time even begins. Families, especially those with newborns, rely on the accuracy of the information posted on the official website. It is extremely frustrating to arrange transportation, bring required documents, and wait in line with an infant, only to be turned away due to undisclosed internal limits. The issue is not that there is a limit — it is that the limit is not transparently communicated. The website and the actual practice do not align, and that needs to be corrected to prevent other families from experiencing the same situation. I hope management reviews this policy and updates the posted information so it accurately reflects how walk-ins are truly handled at this location

Very disappointing experience today. I came in asking for help with a return and was met with repeated rudeness and an unprofessional attitude throughout the interaction. When I politely asked for the employee’s name, she responded with “find out,” which was extremely inappropriate. I was simply asking for guidance. Customers deserve basic courtesy and respect.

Mr. President, I am writing to bring to your attention a disgusting display of government incompetence and the mistreatment of hard-working American citizens. Today, February 7, 2026, my wife and I had a confirmed 10:00 AM appointment for passport services at the United States Postal Service, 20180 Park Row Blvd, Katy, TX 77449. Despite our punctuality, we were forced to stand and wait for two consecutive hours. During this grueling wait, the staff explicitly refused to let us use the restroom. When we were forced to leave for 10 minutes to find a basic facility nearby, the staff "punished" us by making us wait another hour upon our return. In total, we spent three hours being harassed by the very system our tax dollars fund. This level of organizational decay and lack of basic human decency is exactly why the American people are demanding radical change. The USPS operates as a broken, bloated bureaucracy that treats citizens like prisoners rather than customers. I urge your administration to hold this specific office accountable and to continue your mission of dismantling such inefficient and disrespectful government agencies. We need a system that works for the people, not one that tortures them. Respectfully,
