This place is a prime example of why people hate on government workers. It’s upset because I know so many workers that are amazing, but these jokers are the ones that ruin it for the everyone. Sometimes it’s just better to trim the fat and start over. There are way better options around the area. Seriously, do everyone a favor and close.

This location is a waste of our tax dollars. They are rude & refuse to do certain things that have never been a problem at any other post office, such as dropping off pre-paid packages & getting a receipt. Their self serve station is broken or down half of the time & I need receipts for my taxes & records. When I attempted to scan my package at the front desk, they refused & said they only handle monetary transactions, that I need to drop my package in the chute. When attempting to explain that I’ve never been told that at other locations & need a receipt, it turned into a huge issue. Miss Mary (far left register) attempted to solve the problem for me & was very polite but her “team lead” barged in on the interaction & made the experience more stressful and time confusing than it needed to be. She accused me of having a smart mouth when there was not a problem until she got herself involved in the interaction. The team lead was EXTREMELY rude to the customer & her employee. I apologized to Miss Mary & never once cursed or raised my voice at anyone. The team lead came with a disrespectful attitude & got upset that her energy was projected back. I hope Miss Mary at USPS has a wonderful holidays. Hopefully Santa brings her a new lead & improved service at this location! There is multiple low reviews about this team lead, its incredulous.

This place is full of scammers. I’ve had a large package disappear before. They didn’t deliver it and they didn’t give me an option to pick up when I called. Yesterday, one of my Christmas orders was supposed to be delivered, but the driver never came to my door. I have a camera and never saw the driver. They said my package was undeliverable. Today I spent over an hour and a half waiting for any news on my package at the Katy Post office. They leave you waiting, extended periods of time With the kiosk Door closed. After a full hour waiting, they let me know my package was not there as the tracking number says it is. After attempting to contact the driver and failing multiple times, they let me know my package is missing and they simply cannot account for it. Not even the agent for the Postal Service understands why this is happening, but someone is definitely not delivering our packages and keeping them Sometimes. This is unacceptable. We should be able to trust our Postal Service Within our community And not be a victim of theft by them.
