Very poor Customer service. They NEVER answer the phone even when people are out of town trying to reach them about important mail . You fill out the info for them to hold your mail . They send it out anyway. They Are Useless !!!

After looking up the post office hours and seeing it was open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on a Wednesday, I drove to the post office and expected to arrive about 3:50 p.m. I arrived at 3:53 p.m. (per cell phone time). The door was locked and two postal employees were assisting two people who were serviced and left by 3:55 p.m.. No one else was in the service area at the time. A service employee was about to walk into a back entry door and was asked why the door was locked. "Charlie", a nice enough fellow, advised that the doors were unlocked at 15 minutes before 9:00 a.m. and locked 15 minutes before 4:00 p.m. First, that is not 100% accurate, as I arrived one morning at 8:30 a.m. (not knowing the opening time was 9:00) and waited. The doors remained locked not until 9:00 a.m., but after the clock struck 9:00. So, the doors appear to be unlocked and locked when the postal employees want, not based on the posted open for business hours. My suggestion is to post the hours you are actually open, not random times for appearance sake. Along with my frustration of the post office not abiding by their posted times, but the postal employee behind the counter not assisting anyone just staring at me, making no attempt to assist or communicate with me. I suppose a big thanks for impressing upon me the unreliability of government employees is in order, but my frustration prohibits being thankful at this time. I hope one day to pick up my sign for mailing, since I can't seem to be home to sign for it due to my conflicting work schedule.

This place is pitiful. Postmaster actually passes off issues to his supervisor over the couriers instead of addressing problems directly.. Supervisor does an exquisite job of doing her & his work since he is not willing to fix problems and correct lazy workers.
