I am leaving this five star review today as a result of the experience I had with the staff. I came in with two large items, they were both returns.
In the beginning, I felt like we got off on the wrong foot with the lady at the counter who has blonde hair. She tried to tell me that I was missing some type of a label or something; apparently the barcode did not fully print.. I tried to tell her that I believe I have an electronic version of this on my phone.
I began to get frustrated as it appeared that she did not really want to hear me in regards to the electronic version of the barcode. My phone was dying, so I had to leave everything at the counter and run back to the car to grab the portable battery. When I returned to the counter, she had already taken care of the matter, she manually input the information which did not fully print and had my package ready to go… she was very patient and very kind, “All set” she said.
Then the gentleman with the long hair and a cross rosary around his neck, helped me and guided me on how to properly print a label from their shop for my other package.
Even though I showed my frustration in the beginning of this interaction (due to not being prepared and not fully understanding the process, as I do not do many returns through UPS) both of these employees showed high professionalism, a significant level of grace, and even restraint when dealing with me today.
They both went above and beyond, and were highly patient with me and my lack of knowledge. I was the girl with the two large boxes today. I’m sure they will remember me. Thank you for showing me Grace today… I needed it more than I realized, and please forgive me for the frustration due to my own lack of understanding.
To whoever owns this location, I want to commend you and those two employees; today was Monday April 20 and this was in the late afternoon.
This could have gone so much different, but they turned it around. That’s not just good customer service — it’s great character, humanity, and leadership.
