I was standing in line for a while (which isn’t a problem at all!!!) but the older lady working must have seen 7 people in front of me and treated them HORRIBLE!! She was condescending and rude to each one of them…. There was one customer who was so polite to her and the worker behind the desk didn’t want to repeat herself a second time so she just ignored this customer blatantly! The whole room felt bad and awkward so we helped the customer ourselves as best we could. I DO NOT recommend - take the time to drive to a different post office - it’s worth it!!

I’ve reached a point where, if I didn’t like my apartment complex so much, I would honestly move just to have access to a safer and more reliable post office. Some time ago, I accidentally placed a FedEx package in the USPS drop box inside the post office. Instead of mailing it back to me, someone stole the shoes inside and sent the empty box back. Lately, I’ve also been receiving mail, especially credit card offers, that arrive already opened. This is unacceptable. Someone needs to address what’s happening at this post office. I filed a complaint with the postmaster, and even she admitted that the hiring practices have declined. Residents in this area deserve better. We should come together and sign a petition demanding trustworthy employees who won’t steal from hardworking customers or mishandle valuable items.

I mailed 2 valentines, one to San Marcos and the other for in town address. The one for out of town was delivered on time, but the one for Houston was 6 days late. Christmas 2025 they lost a package was so late being logged in for tracing. The company sent a replacement and the original arrived 3 months later. This same issue happened a couple of years ago. When I complained at the station they said it wasn't logged in elsewhere. I got it the next day. This indicates to me that the problem is with this stations failure to keep up with incoming packages. I too say they are rude and not accommodating.

THIEVES! Nothing but thieves. So, on two occasions I have sent something of value from this post office and it never arrived. The first was some International money (two $2 bills) as souvenirs for my dad and was put in an envelope and sealed wrapped in paper. I asked if it should be more taped up and was told no it's fine. This happened to me in April of 2023. My dad never received the mail. After that I realized that he was probably never going to receive it and I couldn't salvage the situation. Then last year when my W2s arrived I asked my cousin to send them to me because I couldn't make it back in time to file there. She put them in an envelope and unknown to me, an expensive perfume she bought me and a gift card for my birthday. She said that she had asked them if she should taped up the envelope and was told no it's fine. She sent it off and it arrived days after it was estimated and after the app said it was delivered. To my shock I received a ton of papers with subpoenas for different people. Court documents none belonging to me and my W2s no where in sight. The envelope had been crumbled and crushed, it was in bad shape when i got it and tried to smooth it out. In a panic I called her and sent a picture of the envelope and asked her what it looked like and she said that's the envelope with her hand writing. Frantically I began reaching out and researching how to contact the headquarters or something for usps to report theft. The person I reached in the state i was in at the time told me she would investigate and because her drivers wouldn't do that. Never heard back. About a week later my cousin informed me that my W2 turned up in her mail unopened. And that's when she told me she had put my gift in that envelope because they didn't know when they would see me again since I travel for work. They stole what was valuable and returned the W2. Don't know if they somehow gained a conscience. They have very dishonest people there in the system. Guard your things. Seal them up good and take pictures. Use the insurance as well so you can report them. It's like they are going out of their way to hire thieves.

The worst. There is one particular woman who is consistently rude and offensive. Too bad you have to rate them as you're making your transaction on the credit card reader; I was concerned anything less than a good review would result in her tossing my package in the trash. USPS - I'm sure plenty of people would want this job, please find someone who is at least neutral in their interactions with the public.
