One of the worst USPS offices in Houston which makes no sense since they service the Uptown/Briargrove area. Here is why they are terrible: 1. They no longer have a mail drop-off box outside like pretty much every USPS location in the history of the USPS. 2. They lock their doors when the retail window closes so if you have a PO box or need to drop off letters or a prepaid package, you have to come back when they're open. 3. They're closed on Saturdays so on top of locking their doors when retail closes, you can't drop off a package, pick up a package, or check your mail for an entire weekend! You need your baby formula? You're out of luck. You have an important legal document to send or receive? You're out of luck. 4. In a lot of apartment complexes that they service, they no longer deliver packages that don't fit in the mail box and they require you to come and pick up the package in the office but as mentioned above, they're not open on weekends so you have to come during the week and when you ring the bell, nobody comes to the door until you've rang it again and again and then asked the single slow moving cashier that you've been waiting for a half hour and nobody is showing up at the door. What on earth is going on here? Is there no oversight? Even the Westbury location is better than this location.

It is very understaffed at this location. There's only 1 person that works the front desk here. Please staff your location better. It's causing long wait times. I was there for more than an hour to ship one care package. If it's important & on short time, go to another location.

I got a call from USPS just an hour before my scheduled appointment for passport and was asked to cancel/reschedule it. My rest of the day went into chaos.

I had a confirmed passport appointment, yet the staff refused to take my application, claiming “no one is available,” even though I showed up on time with my newborn. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If they aren’t able to honor scheduled appointments, they should not allow people to book them—especially when parents are bringing small babies. Extremely disappointing experience and a total waste of time.

This place is horrible, I waited in line in the front desk and got bad information, then was told to go away at the mail pick up door where no one showed up for 20 minutes, then I was told to go back over to the front desk, everyone there was nasty and everything they told me about a change of address was inaccurate. Employees are rude and nasty and have attitudes
