- JKJacques KessousJul 13, 20251.0We were never told that Clifton Oral Surgery (SPECIALITY1 PARTNERS) did not accept any insurance until after the visit. The cost of our bill was around $10,000.00. Our dentist was SHOCKED and said he would not send patients there as it was very expensive. AFTER they were paid in full (immediately after visit ) They said they would send the bill for the procedure to the insurance company. Aflac /Aetna sent them the check. When I asked the insurance as to WHY they sent THEM a check the Insurance company stated that they had "clicked " that box. Why would a company ask to get the check when they had already been paid in full. I just received my check today , almost TWO months after it was sent by the Insurance company. Almost TWO months of calling them asking "where is my check and WHY was it sent to them.
