I paid for white glove delivery through RXO, and the service was extremely disappointing; not because of the individuals themselves, but because they were clearly not prepared or properly informed by management. I was told I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to delivery, which never happened. Instead, I received an automated text stating the delivery team was nearby...nearly two hours earlier than the scheduled time. When I arrived home, the mattress, box spring, and foundation boxes were stacked outside my garage, and the delivery team was already heading back to their truck. When I explained that this was a white glove delivery requiring setup and removal of the old mattress, the team appeared confused and unaware that these services were expected. One individual reacted unprofessionally, which was unfortunate. However, the driver deserves recognition; he was courteous, patient, and genuinely tried to make the situation right despite clearly not being prepared for white glove assembly. The oddest part about this is that the majority of the assembly was done on my driveway - surely not white glove service. He had to rely on written instructions and essentially learn on the spot. RXO’s management failed to properly prepare and equip their delivery team for the service being sold. The individuals were placed in a difficult situation, and the customer ultimately pays the price. The merchant I purchased the mattress from has been notified of my experience and has offered to make the situation right.
