- SSSid StroudDec 25, 20255.0Every time I’m in this post office, I’m met with a friendly smile and always wanting to help. I can say it’s the most friendly Post office I have ever had where I have lived, and we have lived in several places. Thank you Phyllis, our carrier, for ALWAYS smiling, super friendly, so helpful and goes out of her way to help me and my family with packages and delivery in all weather situations! I am very grateful for Hawkins Post Office and their service to our community!!! I miss Josh, please tell him hello from us.
- MSMonika SeayDec 5, 20251.0If I could rate this post office a zero or even a negative I would. I've lived here for almost 5 years now and within the last couple of years have had nothing but issues anytime I decide to order something. I have escalated and reported to USPS corporate multiple times but every time they get a new mail carrier, the issues start over same as before. I've had packages that were marked as delivered but not delivered, I have had packages marked as unable to deliver despite the fact that my mailbox and porch were both not blocked, etc. I have even gone as far as to install a camera pointed directly at my mailbox as well as pointed on my porch just to prove that my packages are not being delivered properly. I work from home and I do not get off in time to go up to the post office, which is why I pay for delivery. That is the whole point in delivery is to have it delivered to your house. If I did not do my job to the best of my abilities you can guarantee that I would face some kind of corrective action. I am sick and tired of having to stop in the middle of my work day (I work from home) to go on the hunt for my packages when that is not my job, but the job of USPS. I am currently in the middle of filing a report with the office of the Inspector General because I have had enough of the BS. This is highly unprofessional and highly unacceptable because again that is the point of ordering online and paying for delivery, to have it delivered directly to my house. I live right in the middle of town and my house is not difficult to get to whatsoever. I really wish you guys would get it together and do your jobs properly. I've had enough.
