We came into Staples to get passport photos since they advertise that the photos are guaranteed to be accepted, but the whole experience was really disappointing. We were told to go to customer service, and the guy helping us just didn’t seem interested or knowledgeable at all.
We’re trying to get passport photos for our baby, so we asked if he knew the requirements, and he straight up said he didn’t know anything—even though he’s the one taking the photos. Then when we asked if he could at least work with us to try and get a good photo, he let out a long sigh and said he couldn’t guarantee anything. That was pretty frustrating, especially since there’s literally a sign saying the photos are guaranteed.
It just didn’t feel like anyone knew what they were doing or cared to help, so we ended up leaving. Definitely not what we expected.

Everyone working there was really nice, I even got a refund after my pictures didn't come out as expected. So this review isn't for the employees or the place itself, it's for the company. If a customer is needing pictures or cardstock printed, maybe have a printer that doesn't put a saturated filter on everything. The pictures are already edited the way they were intended. No one wants grey/yellow lettering when its suppose to be white. And it put a damper on things because these employees are trying to help the best way they can, and they dont have the right tools to fix it.

All inclusive but difficult to get someone to help you. I printed off a form and then faxed it to a location. I tried to print up double-sided menus but the setting did not allow me to verify before printing on the self-serve scanner/copier/printer/fax. I had to wait to have someone help me correct the issue and it seemed as though the workers were too busy and didn’t want to extend the courtesy of customer service. I was patient and waited to be acknowledged. I drove 47 miles just to take care of the things I needed. Customer service is not what it use to be. As I read the reviews after posting my review, it seems to be the common complaint for this location. My experience was with the printing department as well and it makes me sad because this is not the experience I was expecting after driving so far to be taken care of. My hope is that there will be customer service training for all employees. It seems as though people are becoming more accustomed to electronic interaction instead of that personal touch.

Bravo and kudos to Ms. AMBER (office center) who graciously and patiently assisted me with an Amazon return last night. Amazon return area has been relocated since I was last there. Bit confusing QR vs needing a printed label. Nonetheless, Ms. AMBER took charge. Got it done, quickly and professionally. Muchas, muchas gracias👏!👏!👏!👒🐾🐾🐣🐤🐥🤞

I am an avid Amazon shopper and as such I frequently have returns. Staples is a convenient location for me as everything else is 20 miles away. The drop-off process has never been particularly efficient but just went from bad to worse. They have now separated the UPS drop-offs from the Amazon no label drop-offs. Which means if you have some of each you now have to stand in two different lines. That wouldn't be a big issue for me if these areas were managed efficiently so that it didn't take so long. I agree with other posts I've read that staff is not concerned with the customers experience. I know they probably operate the print area separately from the UPS section but it creates a bad image when associates are standing around, or sometimes sitting, talking with each other when there is one person handling the long UPS line and not very efficiently. And to make it worse no one greets you or thanks you. They certainly don't get in any hurry. And after dropping my UPS packages I then went to stand in the Amazon line which was staffed by a young man that either didn't know what he was doing or didn't care. AND they were having him take Amazon returns at one register and then walk across to another and ring up customers from the store while the people in the Amazon line had to wait. Staples needs to hire more associates or manage and train the ones they have better. The prospect of having to go to Staples with an Amazon return has slowed my Amazon shopping. Which is probably good for me but I'm sure Amazon doesn't appreciate it.
