It is being overly generous to even give one star, but it is the only way to post a review. The passport service is horrendous. We had a pre-scheduled 11:00 appointment and showed up at 10:50 as requested. We let the USPS person know we were there and he said he would get someone to assist us. 25 minutes later, we are still waiting to speak with someone and finally got the front counter's attention. She said she would let them know we were there. As we began to question her, it turned out there was no USPS person in the station at that time qualified to help with passports. The person had possibly gone to lunch or wasn't even in that day. The only good advice coming out of that building was to go to the Galveston County Annex in League City and avoid the USPS altogether. Absolutely, no consideration for the USPS customers' time and literally a "don't care" attitude.

I had an appointment set for the passport office at 10:15 and a woman in front of me had one at 10:00 am, we waited till 10:55 and nobody came to assist us and when someone finally came to the window a gentleman asked to speak with the post master the lady said she was the manager she talked over the gentlemen who was speaking nice the whole time and lied to him saying that the post master was busy then saying he wasn’t there the gentleman then brought up me and the other lady waiting for our passport business addressing the issue that we had she then rudely told him that our issue was none of his concern he then asked for her name and she refused to tell us then proceeded to slam the door in his face. So if anyone needs passport stuff done I highly recommend the league city post office and not this one for their blatant unprofessional and attitude towards issues that they have and their lack luster ability to do their jobs

Alright, I normally don't do this but it HAS to be done. On Monday, Nov. 10 around 12:15 pm, my mom and I wanted to return an item from an online order. Being that we very rarely mail out packages and this was a small item, we wanted to ask about the most economical method to ship it out. A Vietnamese lady comes from the back room and calls out to help the next customer. (Before any reader makes assumptions, I, myself, am Vietnamese, and I can recognize the accent from a mile away.) Already you can see her facial expression was unhappy — somehow I knew this was going to be a bad interaction. I showed her the small item, said we wanted to return this, and asked what would be the cheapest way to mail it out — no rush shipping necessary. Immediately she is in a foul mood, copping an attitude, claiming she can’t tell us until she enters it into the system. Really? I’m not asking for an exact cost to the penny. Just a general idea of which shipping method would be best for this situation, and maybe even a ballpark figure would help. I also understand there may be a weight limit to certain shipping methods, so I disclose that it only weighs a quarter of a lb, thinking that narrows down the options. She snaps back, exasperatingly saying she's not sure until she enters it into her computer. Ok, fine. Let's get it in the system. I start to put the item in a generic box we brought along and fill out the address, until she rudely added that if we didn’t have tape, she pointed to the back and said we would need to buy. Wow. The whole room is silent, so everyone can hear the conversation. If the needlessly contentious attitude wasn’t obvious before, it was clear as day by then. Still, I knew what was going on and but didn’t feel the need to make a scene. I realized we forgot to bring the tape, and since we were running another errand and would pass by our home anyway, we decided to just swing by the house again to grab the supply, and go to another USPS near our next destination. As we walked out, my mom, speaking in her native language, said she had an attitude problem. The tone was absolutely rude the entire time. Look, it’s a simple question. You’re telling me, as someone who works at the USPS, you have no idea which method would cost the least for a three-inch item weighing a quarter of a lb? I don't know what got into her. Did something happen in the backroom? Everyone has a bad day, but no need to take it out on your customers. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. There were two other ladies in front working at the same time. The room was quiet as everyone, including the other customers, could sense the tension in the air. If Management doubts my experience, you can ask colleagues about what transpired, as well as review the security footage to corroborate. I hope she is reprimanded for her behavior. I should also add that the lady at the other post office was extremely kind and helpful, and voluntarily taped up our package for us, even when we were holding our own supply.
