My brother and I stayed at a rental in Coral Cove TX for a week and a half, for medical appointments. We needed to order some medical items and gave the correct address for delivery. The USPS sent a notice that they could not deliver our packages because it was an "incomplete address". The notice said to put "Freeport" for the address. We updated the address to Freeport and ordered all of our items a second time. USPS sent a notice again that the address was incomplete. We called the postal service and they told us that the real problem was that there was no mail receptical. (Even though we had received one two deliveries a few days earlier.) The lady told us that we had to pay $15 to pick up our packages at the postal service, even though they never even attempted to deliver to our address. So, they saved money by not even attempting to deliver and then charged us to go pick up our package, or else they'd send it back. (The owner of the rental told us that there was never an issue before with anyone else who stayed at her property.) The whole experience was a nightmare and a rip off. It seems like extortion to refuse to deliver a package to a legitimate address and then to charge the person to come pick up packages directly from the office. Again, these were medical items we needed. And it completely wasted our time to have to continuously order and cancel items, only to then have to pay to go pick them up in person.

I don’t even live in Freeport but I sent a package out to a customer from VA and the package left VA and got to Freeport since the 7th of January Today is the 10th of January and my customer still has not received the package. Someone please check to see if there are postal service people working in Freeport. What is going on???? I sent other packages out that day one to New Mexico and the other to North Carolina and both of those customers received their packages. All packages went out of my post office on January 5th. What is the issue with FreePort
