Franklin post office is a joke. If your mail comes on Friday, and the driver refuses to deliver to your house, you can't get your mail until Monday. Time sensitive mail, like medicines, are held over for the whole weekend. When someone dies because they didn't get their medicine (because the package was too large for the parcel box or all the parcel boxes were used), the people in charge of the Franklin postal service will be held accountable. I contacted this particular post office on 3 different occasions and was told their policy was you must live within a half mile of the community mail boxes in order to have packages delivered to your door. This is false information. I live less than half a mile from the mail boxes and they still refuse to deliver my mail. They insist I come into town before 4 o'clock and pick up my packages. Most of us aren't even home from work at that time and very few people work in the small town of Franklin. Most of us commute 30 miles or more to work. It's just laziness and bad habits that is completely overlooked by management that allows this type of incompetence to exist. Yeah, this place blows....

People in the post office are fine. The mailman is awful. Fails to do his or her job constantly. Won't deliver Amazon packages on time, but has time to leave petty little notes in the mailbox about how the trashcan that was knocked over was in their way. Trashcans get put out once a week and that was the first time the wind knocked it over, so sorry you had to take a step out of your vehicle to deliver mail. Good grief, exercise would do you some good anyway.

Why does the number for Franklin, TX go straight to some horrible, automated service that offers no answers I am looking for and the only way to reach a customer service rep is to cuss the automated service until it happens??? You cannot simply ask for a service rep because that isn't one of the options... It also doesn't dial the local office. It dials some larger national center.

Need to get mail or send mail, this is the place to go in Franklin. They also take UPS Ground packages if the label is already printed.
