Mail carrier came and left, leaving a “sorry we missed you” note for me to come to the post office the following Monday to pick it up. Too bad I was sitting in front of my shop, 50 ft from my mailbox and in clear view. It was a Saturday, so why not get off work early by not having to do their job walking to my front door (or my driveway in my case). I called the office and no answer. I went up there and asked why no one answered the phone. The reply? “We don’t get paid to do that.” Well, they get paid to deliver mail-requiring at times to walk to the front door. However, they don’t do that either. Second time this has happened to me. Imagine how long this practice has been going on! Has this happened to you??? I’m sure, because I can’t believe it only happens to me.
