I really wish we could get a package drop off kiosk at this location. Because of my work schedule I am not always able to get there before they close just to drop off a package. I used to go to the Pasadena office to drop off but that location has been closed.

Absolutely terrible service. There was a black woman with short hair, I’m assuming she’s new bc I’ve never seen her. She was SO rude and the smell of weed coming from her direction is crazy. This post office is going down hill and quick!!!! I hope the right person reads this so they will correct their employees.

I went to this post office to ship a rather odd-sized package. Renate went above and beyond to help me find a box that would fit it well and was overall so kind and helpful! When I say above and beyond, I mean it - she went to the back to search and came back with a box that worked very well for my shipment. This experience was all set up to be stressful and frustrating, but the excellent service made it an overall positive one. Thank you, Renate! Thank you for your kindness and patience - it makes a real difference :)

Um so I couldn't figure out how to edit my review. If you see my sad 1 star review about the post office being closed with pictures please disregard it. Everyone I'm am embarrassed for me as well. Yall I went to the post office on a holiday! Im the fool here. Post office did nothing wrong. They should review me with a one star. Deer Park TX USPS, I am so sorry for my horrible one star review and I am at fault for showing up on Juneteenth. SMH at myself. Like do better me, very sad and embarrassing for myself and a representative of my home where Juneteenth originates from. Like postal service staff I am very sorry. Yall are awesome. I love the mail. It's like a suprise all the time. I get that same feeling going to check the mail as a kid Easter egg hunting. It's so much fun yall bring us. I love birthdays and holiday mail. Love coupons! Love the suprise check from who knows where that pops up every now and then! Love ❤️

The Deer Park TX USPS location on San Augustine has posted hours of operation as 4:30pm. Two days in a row now, this week, Wed and Thurs June 18 and 19, 2025, the post office has been closed earlier than the posted 4:30pm. Yesterday, it was closed down when arriving 15 mins before closing posted time. Today I returned 12 mins before and net with closed locked up service window. I have a package to big to drop in the mail slot. It's boxed with label attached but without someone to accept this package at the post office I unfortunately have to figure something else out. I'd rather not use a commercial service. Obviously, have a postal service is one of the beautiful things that make our homeland great. It provides low cost shipping and communication services to all. It also employees the members of the community that are vital to the heart and workings of the neighborhood. I'm not upset about my package today. I'll get it where it needs to go, that's my responsibility. I'm sad about the lose. I'm sad to witness a strong building block that is necessary to the whole structure of our home failing. It needs attention soon. It needs to be fixed now. Please let's not let our home crumble apart.
