All the workers are visibly miserable and have bad attitudes like all the post offices in Dallas. Very unhelpful and love to be condescending to customers. They fraudulently confirm that they have picked up packages that you’ve arranged online to be picked when they haven’t.

Other peoples’ ratings were surprising to see, because I have not encountered the same issues they have. I go out of my way to avoid the USPS on Markville Drive when at all possible so that I can go to this one in Lakewood. When I bring my packages in, DJ and Rosalyn are always very helpful and process my packages quickly. I treat them with respect, and they return the favor.

Dear USPS Customer Service, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the treatment I received at the USPS Post Office located at 6120 Swiss Ave, Dallas, TX 75214 on [date]. I visited this branch to send a Priority Mail International Flat Rate Box to Poland containing a new tablet with a factory-installed lithium battery. Before visiting, I confirmed with USPS customer service that this was permitted, and I also brought an official USPS website printout showing the policy. However, the clerk named Patty immediately refused my package, shouting: “If there’s a battery, we are not taking it!” She would not read the printed policy I provided, would not allow me to explain, and ran into the back rather than continue speaking with me. When the manager came out, he repeated the same refusal and also would not consider the official USPS guidance. Both Patty and the manager were dismissive, rude, and unprofessional, raising their voices throughout the encounter. Out of frustration, I went to another nearby USPS branch. At that branch, staff accepted the same package without any issue, confirming what customer service had originally told me and what the USPS website clearly states. This situation caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and embarrassment. I respectfully request that USPS review the behavior of both Patty and the manager at this location. Employees should treat customers respectfully and follow USPS’s own published guidelines. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Taro
