The employee’s have been lacking lately. Since about August 2025, when I go in the store employees are talking among themselves rather helping customers. They don't look happy to be there at all. Since the move there are fewer employees, I went in Saturday afternoon and there was only one person working, and she was not very friendly.

I LOVE UPS store 2804, previously at 14902 Preston Road, now at 14999 Preston Road. The entire staff at this store is so friendly, and everyone always takes good care of me. I've occasionally mailed things from other UPS stores, but the customer service at this store can't be topped. They work so hard! I don't know how they do it, but they always have the best workers, always willing to help. There's a location closer to me, but I stay with this store, because of the friendly, helpful staff.

I’ve had my business box here at store #2804 since 2011. I have experienced good service and friendly Customer Service Associates during this time, except for December 8, 2025. Due to no fault of the store owners, the location had to be moved across Beltline Road because the retail center owner is demolishing the entire retail development. This situation caused significant stress for the store owner and the box owners. The store owner provided an okay notice to the box owners. Placing a note in everyone's box and posting signs. However, there were still a few questions that needed to be answered. I called the store to ask a few simple questions (what date will the location be moved, what is the address of the new location, will there be a new key, how long will the forwarding be suitable for, etc., all items that were not communicated), and I spoke to a woman. I initiated the call with: I have a few questions about relocation. She abruptly cut me off, raised her voice, and went off on me as if I should not be asking any questions about the relocation. After the call ended, I called back and asked to speak with the owner. After a long hold, a gentleman answered, saying he was the owner. This conversation did not go any better. There was no apology, no empathy, just a general arrogance. The owner of this location is a woman, so I am unsure if the man I spoke with was the owner. The owner is Suzy Badger, owner of stores #2257 (14999 Preston Rd., Suite 112, Dallas, TX 75254) and 2804 (4145 Beltline Rd., Suite 212, Addison, TX 75001).

Feels like a scammy cash-grab, not a UPS store. This location keeps trying to force customers to buy their bags and boxes for Amazon returns, even when Amazon clearly says no packaging purchase is required. I’ve personally seen them accept an Apple laptop in its original manufacturer box with no extra purchase, but suddenly for other items they act like you must buy their packaging. So which is it – policy or profit? It really feels like they’re chasing commission on every pointless box and bag, not actually helping customers. Looking at the other 1-star reviews, it seems this isn’t a “one-time misunderstanding” – it’s how this store chooses to operate. If you don’t want to be nickel-and-dimed for returns that should be free and easy, I’d avoid this location.

I want to personally write a review for my man, Joss, that’s JOSS THE BOSS, my man saved me when I had to return a military puff jacket back to the merchant. Jose handled the entire return with nothing but a grace, professionalism, and excellence in everything he does. Joss has insured, my continued patronage I would like to personally commend Joss for being an absolute bad ass.
