I just moved into town from New Orleans and called in to see about where my mailbox is. The USPS employee discussed all of my options for getting one installed and informed me that i had stuff waiting for me. The conversation was so friendly and welcoming and such a far cry from the horrible experiences of our previous post office. So much so that I was compelled to write a review immediately... 5+ stars!

Helpful, courteous, pleasant staff. It's a tiny town and out-going mail is processed through Dallas, so takes a little longer to get to addressee; that's not the fault of the local P.O. Compared to the frequent staff rudeness and wait time in line in major cities, it's great to be at the Cross Plains Post Office.
