Today I had to send a prepaid envelope to my country’s consulate in Houston. I had never done it before. I had no idea how to get a prepaid envelope from the self-service machine. The treatment I received was very rude. I waited 40 minutes and no one helped me. They just kept telling me I had to do it by myself without any assistance So I went back home with out resolving this issue

Not helpful at all. Not surprised with the rating. Go somewhere else. Waste of time.

My experience is positive. I know of the individual that has generated the most negative comments. She does not seem to have a warm and fuzzy demeanor but seems to respond to a customers positive attitude. Dean is spectacular. Very efficient and helpful.

I made an appointment to get my passport and photo taken at 1:30 pm , on the confirmation email it said to arrive 15 min before my appt . I was there at 1 pm . There was a room available to be seated for your appointment, however it was locked , lights off , and multiple signs where they say “do not knock on the door“ and another one that says “ be seated outside and will call when it’s your appointment time”. At about 1:30 pm a lady came out from the closed room and told me if I was here for a passport photo I had to go to across the street to FedEx and get it taken there because their camera does not work … I went to FedEx waited another 10 Minutes to be attended by them. Finally made it back to the post office , where I was seated for another 35 minutes (their was no one infront of me ) and I was then finally taken into the closed room around 2:10 pm (in which she opened the room after ) and someone else arrived shortly after I was taken back and she tried rushing me because the other guy who showed up for their 2:15 appt was already here . She was in a rush during my appt, even though I was very very patient running around everywhere and waiting for over an hour until I was attended. She was rushing me on signing the forms , and getting the money order , and processing the payment . Very unprofessional, poor communication, lack of patience and unethical.

One of the better run post offices in the DFW area. Clean building, well staffed, and you can even apply for a US passport here.
