Marilyn was so helpful today! I've never shipped anything before and she guided us through the process. She was even patient with us while I hastily wrote a letter on a card that I bought there. And even more patient after I sealed the letter... forgetting to scan it... and even more patient after we left and she noticed we had a ring in there and it would be damaged. So she called us in to wrap it in bubble wrap. 😅

This is the closest location in my proximity. I went after work to get a box shipped off and got there close to closing time walked in because the open sign was still on Not to mention the door was unlocked I went and ready. The guy came to the front rude with an attitude stating that he was getting ready to head out and because I didn’t have a label, he declined my services and waved me off with a smile. Worst customer service, worse attitude experienced will never do business with them. I am not a person that typically would leave bad reviews, but this one I feel deserved it.

I called the store to see if they could wait for me about two minutes to turn in some really important documents. It was a guy and he said “I am not gonna wait for you just to turn in some paperwork. I understood and I asked him do you know where there may be a drop off. He stated no I don’t and he hang up on me. I understand that we all have an clock out time, but you don’t have to be rude and hang up on a customer.

Team member Rae (female) at this location was horrible and rude. Rolled her eyes and gave a ton of attitude when I was trying to ship out items. Kept interrupting me when I was trying to talk. Wouldn't give rates for shipment and tried to charge me and overnight rate when I didn't ask for it. She kept sighing while I was speaking, like I irritated her by just being there I've never had any issues ever with staff at this location until her. She was the worst customer service rep. I won't be back to this location. Beware of the middle age white lady named Rae. She'll because nothing but disrespectful.

We have a problem between Amazon, FexEx Corporate, and this location. I don't know who needs to communicate to who to solve this, but as an end user, here it is: 1) Many, many orders are placed online these days. There's an established standard of what to expect for customers by now. Usually that involves a package showing up at the "delivery" address one has filled out on the site they are ordering from. If there is an exception to this standard, it needs to be made aware of at the time of ordering so that the customer can make a decision about how to handle it, or know what to expect. This policy might come from the ordering site or it might come from the carrier, such as FedEx. I did not pick a carrier from my Amazon order. I'm not sure how that is decided on the back end, but when I click on the "buy" button, if there is a chance one of the possible carriers might have some exception to the standard way of delivering things, I need to be notified, and I need to be given a choice as to how I want to hand this exception, or select a carrier who doesn't break from the standard. 2)I have discovered, that items that are... a) Large and/or b) Heavy and/or c) Expensive ...may not be left at your door. I supposed this is the carrier being responsible, which is nice, I just needed to expect that ahead of time. I did not appreciate having a Door Tag sticker on my door with NOTHING filled out on it. The only option I had to figure out what was going on with my order, was to be pigeon-holed through some automated system that is ill-equipped for what it needs to be able to do. And it just hangs up on you if you don't fall exactly into one the few things it can do, such as... 3) Because I was not going to be home within the delivery window all week, I had the automated system schedule my package to be held so that I could just go pick it up. It was late afternoon, Friday. When I arrived at this address that it gave me, I found out it was not here and likely at their distribution center in Bryan, and they were done for the day so I would have to wait until Monday for any movement. - I would like to point out that the staff here was very nice and helpful. It was through them that I found out that this location will hold an item for 5 business days and policy about Large, Heavy, and Expensive package categories, and door tags. They did say that I could sign the door tag and the next delivery attempt would be left at the door as initially expected. But that is NOT an option on the door tag and absolutely NO WAY for anyone not in this business to know that. - With this information, back home, I attempted to get the automated system to continue with shipping to my house and I would sign the door tag. But now the system said I couldn't make another change so fast, and would just hang up on me. I tried to call the local 979 store number to let them know I couldn't make this change. Here were the options: 1) Speak to a representative 2) Pick up time 3) Fax number, store hours... 4) don't remember 8) Speak to a representative. I didn't make it to option 8. I selected 1. There IS NO REP. to talk to. "Good bye - click." Is what you get. Monday. I managed to get here during the last 15 minutes they were open. The manager was running things. She did look for my name for a package, and there was nothing. As soon as I said I had a door tag number, she immediately said, "We're not a warehouse, it's not going to be here." I tried to explain to her what happened with the automated system. She said they would never hold a package - even though they had pick up orders right behind her, and even though I was told the opposite and given a time frame. She said I needed to call their store number and talk to a person. I told her the system didn't work that way and called the number in front of her. She immediately just told me to press 8. It's on me for not listening to ALL options - but why do they repeat #1 at #8 and let #8 work? An INCREDIBLY poor design. And the manager was being a jerk about it. FEDEX - FIX YOUR SYSTEM!!
