I went to the post office after receiving a notification that I had a package delivered to a parcel locker in my mailbox. When I checked my mailbox, there was no key inside to access the package. I called the USPS 800 number and was told I needed to go to my local post office to find out where the key or package was.
When I arrived, the man who initially helped me was very kind and attentive. He listened to the situation and brought a supervisor out to assist. At first, the supervisor was pleasant. I provided her with the tracking number, and she went to the back to research the issue.
When she returned, although she was smiling, her tone was rude and condescending. She told me that my mail carrier had informed her that a note was left in my mailbox stating that my mail was being held because I hadn’t checked it in a while, and that I needed to come to the post office to retrieve my package. I calmly explained that no such note was left in my mailbox. If there had been a note, I would have simply come in to pick up my mail and would not have been asking about a missing parcel locker key.
Despite explaining this multiple times, she insisted that the mail carrier did leave a note and repeatedly implied that I was wrong or being dishonest. Her demeanor became increasingly rude and dismissive, and it felt as though I was being accused of lying about something I never received.
While I appreciate the initial assistance from the front desk employee, the interaction with the supervisor was disappointing and unprofessional. Clear communication and respectful customer service were lacking in this situation.

No matter how long the line may be, the staff is always working hard to keep it moving and give great consistent service. I go in about once a week and enjoy seeing the familiar faces of Juan and Traci always with a smile ready to help everyone with the same care. Favorite post office!
