Dreaded going to mail my one Christmas package so I didn't! No more long lines, bad service and official complaints (please Mr. Postmaster General, heed us!!) for me! Opted for UPS at Texas and Dominick. Quick service, smiling folks who appreciate your business and are actually helpful. They sell stamps too. Never looking back!

They marked a package as delivered but I never received it. I put in a service request and they marked the request as resolved without notifying me. They just reaffirmed that it was delivered. I was home that day and would have known if my package was delivered. I've been calling for days to speak with a local person and they never answer. Update: They escalated my ticket and I got a call back the next day from a private number. I assumed it was spam. I used a call screener and after it asked the reason for the call, the lady immediately said "I'm just gonna close the case." They gave no indication they were with the local USPS office. She sent an email saying the case was closed and to contact Amazon. I called the number on the email and they did not answer. I emailed them back asking to call me and I didn't know it was them due to calling from a private number. I called back later that day and they answered. It was the person that called me that morning. She said "one moment, I'm going to use the other phone." I was on hold for 20 minutes and then I hung up. I emailed them again saying what happened and asked for a call back. That was 6 days ago.

I gave specific instructions to leave the package at the door says in app left i mailbox. Why don't some of them care about people's stuff??! How am I supposed to get my package inside a mailbox we don't use?! For all I know the mail carrier stole it. They know we don't use that box. I'll have to go through the proper channels to take care of this problem bc if someone leaves clear instructions about their package just FOLLOW IT. 12/9/25 Update: The clerk at the post office was incredibly nasty and mean towards me, so I filed a complaint right after getting off the phone with her. She had answered the phone all dry and then became argumentative. I had spoken to someone in customer service just fine and she directed me to call them. Unfortunately I can't get my package unless I pay $35 lol ridiculous. It's just gonna stay in there or the mail carrier can have it (if they haven't stolen it already?). $35 to feed "postal workers" who don't even care about their jobs and our mail/packages...nope! For all she knows I can be in town visiting. I'm not gonna go through the hassle of getting the package just chunk it as a loss.

About the worst service you can expect, not surprised. There are even days during the week, when they do not deliver the mail at all.
