Today we got passport photos and applications done. Nicole could not have been more amazing. She was very kind, diligent, knowledgable and quick. Completing a task that is widely considered to be mundane and frustrating, our experience was anything but that. Nicole made an extremely positive impact on our day. I also drop packages off here on a semi-routine basis. I've always found the entire staff here to be friendly, helpful and fast. In a word, excellent. Today just highlighted that experience, and I thought I should report.

I had a very frustrating experience with this USPS location. I called ahead on Presidents’ Day to confirm whether they were open. The man who answered the phone told me they were open. I specifically mentioned that I needed to drop off packages around 4:30 PM, and he assured me that would be totally fine. When I arrived at 4:30 PM, the location was completely closed. It’s extremely disappointing to be given incorrect information directly by staff, especially after taking the time to call and confirm. This wasted my time and caused unnecessary inconvenience. If holiday hours are different, staff should communicate that clearly. I hope this location improves its communication and customer service in the future.

One of the best run Post Offices in NW Austin. Shorter lines than the Far West Location. More employees on staff. I go there two or three times a week. Don't believe the negative BS over a one time experience. They aren't allowed to open or early or let customers get in line after closing time.

I have been going to this post office on and off for about two years. Every time I do, i'm impressed with how friendly and efficient the staff is. I live much closer to the location at 183 and 35. I've been going there for about 5 years and for most of that time, I have felt an attitude and indifference from a few of the regular employees. They have hired a couple of people in the last two years that are great, but the experience is not consistent to say the least.
